Before you build a Shopify store, test your product idea with a single TikTok video. If it doesn't get engagement organically, paid ads won't save it.
Always order a sample from your supplier before listing. Photos on Alibaba and AliExpress are often misleading - what arrives can be very different.
Don't pick a product because you personally like it. Pick a product because the data shows people are already buying it. Your opinion is irrelevant.
Don't run paid ads before you've made at least 5 organic sales. If you can't sell it for free, you can't afford to pay to sell it.
